Traditional Screed
Sand and Cement Fibre reinforced Screed is widely understood as being the traditional floor screed. Sand and Cement make an ideal screed system which is suitable to receive almost any type of floor covering. It is a semi-dry system which makes it the best choice for floors that are required to be laid to falls, in other words a slight slope, to assist with drainage.
We lay sand and cement fibre reinforced screeds by hand so installations can take longer to complete compared with the flowable screed systems options.
We can also speed up the drying time of traditional screed using additives. This will enable floor finishes to be installed sooner.
Liquid Flowing Screed
Liquid Flowing Screed is fast becoming the product of choice for many architects and developers because it has many advantages including speed of installation and higher flexural strength, which means that it can be installed thinner, all of which can result in a lower cost.
As Liquid screed can be laid at varying depths when compared to a traditional screed depth, it is a far more efficient product. This is extremely useful when there are major height restrictions in properties requiring insulation and a screeded floor.
We can offer cement based liquid screed (cemscreed ) or anhydrite liquid screed.
